Plenty of time for drinking outdoors, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/easter-bank-holiday-2025-the-full-london-weather-forecast-041125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">weather permitting<\/a> (not that that\u2019s ever stopped us brits).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In time for the long weekend, at\u00a0Time Out we have just crowned our number one rooftop bar in the city \u2013 we\u2019re talking tip-top drinks and of course, cracking views.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Time Out\u2019s best rooftop bar for summer 2025 is, drumroll please&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/forza-wine-at-the-national-theatre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Forza Wine at the National Theatre<\/strong><\/a>. This South Bank spot only opened in 2023, but it\u2019s already won our hearts thanks to its excellent on-tap wine selection (plenty of natties, of course), creative cocktails and delightful Italian-ish small plates. A bonus: this alfresco spot is walk-ins only, so there\u2019s no nonsense about having to book a table a month in advance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In second place we crowned <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/bars-and-pubs\/franks-cafe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frank\u2019s Cafe<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in Peckham. This stalwart of London\u2019s rooftop scene doesn\u2019t need much in the way of an introduction \u2013 and you\u2019ve probably seen\u00a0that pink staircase on the Instagram of every millennial in the city. We love this bar perched on the top of a multi-storey car park for its stunning views,\u00a0interesting art installations and all-round cool vibe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41fea66d-bb1c-7263-0edf-5a7ff6240cc9\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1744923078_369_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"best bars in peckham, franks cafe\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Tricia de Courcy Ling\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"105210161\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Tricia de Courcy Ling&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/hotels\/the-standard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Standard<\/a><\/strong> rooftop bar came in third place.\u00a0The views at this bougie spot get up close and personal with the the Gothic spires of St Pancras International. It serves cocktails around the clock and this summer will see the arrival of a\u00a0food truck serving New York-style pizza slices.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Time Out\u2019s food and drink editor Leonie Cooper said: \u2018When the sun shines in London you have to seize the moment, because you never know when it&#8217;s going to abandon us again.
