Hollywood<\/a> icon Bruce Willis<\/a> is reportedly no longer able to speak, read, or walk as his frontotemporal dementia<\/a> continues to progress.<\/p>\n

The devastating update comes three years after the Die Hard star first stepped away from acting following a diagnosis of aphasi<\/a>a in 2022.<\/p>\n

Bruce, 70, is said to have become largely non-verbal and is reportedly experiencing motor difficulties, though no specific details about his mobility have been confirmed by his family in recent months. It comes after daughter Tallulah defend the decision to post controversial photos of her father.<\/a><\/p>\n

In April 2025, Willis\u2019 family issued a rare public update reassuring fans that while the disease remains progressive, his condition is considered stable.<\/p>\n

Bruce\u2019s wife Emma Heming Willis and daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah have continued to update fans with heartfelt tributes, using their social media platforms to raise awareness of the rare and misunderstood condition that has affected their beloved father and husband.<\/p>\n

Willis first received an aphasia diagnosis in 2022, which impacts speech and language comprehension, before being diagnosed with FTD in early 2023.<\/p>\n

Since then, he has been cared for privately by his family, who have remained committed to both honoring his legacy and advocating for public awareness of the condition.<\/p>\n

Emma, Willis’s wife, opened up about the emotional weight of being a caregiver.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want it all back,\u201d she wrote candidly. But she also emphasised his resilience, saying that even in his silence, he continues to teach their family about strength, presence, and unconditional love.<\/p>\n

Emma has announced a forthcoming book, The Unexpected Journey, about her caregiving experience.<\/p>\n

Tallulah shared a series of rare family photos and a short message: \u201cIt was a great day filled with smiles.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOn one hand, it’s who we are as a family,\u201d she explained during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/a> in November 2023. \u201cBut also, it’s really important for us to spread awareness about FTD.<\/p>\n
