Igor Paixao is becoming the transfer story of the summer at Leeds United.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Brazilian emerged as an early target for the Whites at Elland Road<\/a>, but Marseille quickly jumped into the driving seat for his signature.<\/p>\n Despite that, little progress has been made by the French, and Feyenoord\u2019s demands could make that move impossible to complete.<\/a><\/p>\n Now, an update on a move to Leeds has emerged.<\/p>\n After the signing of Anton Stach from Hoffenheim, it was shared that the Whites want a new goalkeeper, striker and left winger at Elland Road.<\/a><\/p>\n Paixao<\/a> would tick the last box, with the South American said to be worth north of \u00a330million.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Daily Mail<\/a> has now reported that a move is currently unlikely, but \u201cnot impossible\u201d.<\/p>\n It is shared that Paixao\u2019s team has insisted that he is only negotiating with Marseille, as things stand, but little progress could open the door to West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n Regardless of that, the winger is said to be open to a move to Leeds<\/a> if it presents itself.<\/p>\n As much as the Leeds fans don\u2019t like it, the return of Jack Harrison has opened a door<\/a>.<\/p>\n With Manor Solomon returning to Tottenham from his loan<\/a>, Willy Gnonto, Largie Ramazani and Dan James have been joined by the ex-Everton loanee.<\/p>\n Paixao is on another level, though.<\/p>\n Should someone like Harrison leave, it would represent decent PSR profit given his extended contract and book value at Elland Road.<\/p>\n That would make the Brazilian more likely, and he would arrive with serious Champions League pedigree and a love for Raphinha<\/a>, which may work to the benefit of Farke and Leeds.<\/p>\n A new striker and goalkeeper are likely bigger priorities for Farke, but if an opportunity to sign Paixao arises from the failures of Marseille, then they simply cannot look away.<\/p>\n With a highlight reel behind him enough to get any fan excited, the Brazilian running out at Elland Road would be sensational next season.<\/p>\n![\"Igor](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/igor-paixao-1024x683.jpg\")
