\n\tEXCLUSIVE:<\/strong> CAA<\/a> has signed director Ridley Scott<\/a> and Scott Free<\/a> Productions,\u00a0the film and television production vehicle he formed with his late brother Tony Scott.<\/p>\n

\n\tA team of reps signed Scott, the four-time Academy Award-nominated director and producer who next will begin production on\u00a0The Dog Stars\u00a0for 20th\u00a0Century Studios based on the novel by Peter Heller. The signing effort was spearheaded by CAA president\/co-chairman Richard Lovett<\/a>, the longtime rep of Tony Scott.<\/p>\n

\n\tRidley Scott has shown no signs of slowing, most recently directing\u00a0Gladiator II, which generated more than $460 million at the global box office. Before that it was The Last Duel\u00a0(2021), House of Gucci\u00a0(2021) and\u00a0Napoleon (2023). Scott most recently directed the pilot for the Apple TV+ series Dope Thief<\/a>, which is produced by Scott Free and Brian Tyree and Wagner Moura. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFilms in Scott\u2019s Hall of Fame resume range from The Martian and Best Picture Oscar winner Gladiator to Alien, Blade Runner and many others.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe self-generator Scott hadn\u2019t had an agent in a long time, but the prolific Scott Free, run by Michael Pruss, is a good piece of business for the agency. Upcoming Scott Free-produced films include the Scott-directed Bee Gees for Paramount Pictures and GK Films;\u00a0Bomb,\u00a0an action thriller based on the Kevin McMullin short story;\u00a0Trap House\u00a0for Amazon Studios and Signature Entertainment, directed by Michael Dowse and starring Dave Bautista;\u00a0Echo Valley\u00a0for Apple, directed by Michael Pearce and starring Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney;\u00a0The Chronology of Water, Kristen Stewart\u2019s directorial debut starring Imogen Poots; and\u00a0Clean Break,\u00a0written by Ryan Brennan.<\/p>\n

\n\tScott Free\u2019s TV series include The Good Wife and spinoff The Good Fight, Prime Target, The Man in the High Castle and The Terror. Upcoming TV projects include include Noah Hawley\u2019s\u00a0Alien: Earth\u00a0for FX, starring Sydney Chandler and Timothy Olyphant;\u00a0Blade Runner 2099\u00a0led by Michelle Yeoh; a further installment of psychological horror anthology\u00a0The Terror: Devil in Silver\u00a0starring Dan Stevens;\u00a0Pompeii: A Day of Fire,\u00a0a limited series regarding the eruption of Mount Vesuvius; and\u00a0Modville, Hyde,\u00a0and\u00a0Nick,\u00a0three original graphic novel series.<\/p>\n
