Ghanaian rapper, <\/a><\/a><\/a>Sarkodie<\/a>, has taken to social media to share his first encounter with rapper Edem. <\/p>\n

In a post shared on X on July 23, 2025, <\/a><\/a><\/a>Sarkodie<\/a> noted that he believed Edem would have a positive impact on the Ghana music industry. <\/p>\n

He cited how, after his first time meeting Edem, he expressed to his colleagues that the rapper was going to be great.<\/p>\n

“Undoubtedly one of the greatest albums in Ghana\u2019s music history!!! I remember when I first encountered my brother @iamedem. I came back home to tell one of my hommies that this guy will have a serious impact on the music scene,” he said. <\/p>\n

He added that his friend doubted him, citing his style of music and language as a barrier. <\/p>\n

According to <\/a><\/a><\/a>Sarkodie<\/a>, Edem is among his favourite rappers in the country. <\/p>\n

“He was like ‘naa’ because of the language barrier, I said I don\u2019t hear language, I hear greatness!!! Big up my brother, you’re still on my fav mcee list,” he added. <\/p>\n
