Leeds have been heavily linked with Igor Paixao throughout the transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n The 25-year-old winger has impressed in the Netherlands for Feyenoord.<\/p>\n Last season, Paixao<\/a> picked up 26 goals contributions in 34 Eredivisie matches. <\/p>\n As a result, Leeds have been keen to add Paixao<\/a> to strengthen their attack.<\/p>\n Now, the transfer saga has developed further as the new Premier League<\/a> season edges closer. <\/p>\n Alongside Leeds United<\/a>, French giants Marseille have also been in the race for the Brazilian. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is set to be a close battle between the two sides, as the race for the winger heats up. <\/p>\n Now, according to Sky Sports<\/a> (23 July), Feyenoord have received a bid around \u00a326 million for the winger from the Ligue 1 side.\u00a0<\/p>\n Paixao has an amazing 2024\/25 campaign<\/p>\n However, nothing has been agreed, and Leeds believe that Marseille are currently struggling to satisfy Feyenoord\u2019s demands.<\/p>\n As a result, the Yorkshire club have since met with the Dutch side\u2019s representatives but a formal offer is yet to be made.<\/p>\n Leeds have done the groundwork on the deal, having previously met with Paixao\u2019s representatives.<\/p>\n Given the ability and the potential Paixao has, Farke<\/a> has to go all out to sign the Brazilian.<\/p>\n There is clearly a gap that Leeds can exploit in negotiations between Feyenoord and Marseille, and the Yorkshire club have to use this to their advantage. <\/p>\n Paixao has the ability to keep the Peacocks in the Premier League and would revolutionise their attack. <\/p>\n These are the type of players that Leeds have to make this window, and given the recent developments, there is absolutely no excuse not to seal the signing. <\/p>\n Hopefully, a bid will now be made in the coming days to ensure Paixao is one step closer to becoming the latest new signing at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n![\"Igor](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/igor-paixao-1024x683.jpg\")
