Wrexham are interested in signing Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to The Star<\/a>, the forward is on the Red Dragons\u2019 radar ahead of their Championship campaign.<\/p>\n

Moore joined the Blades last summer, scoring five times from 27 appearances in the regular season, with the team coming third in the table.<\/p>\n

Phil Parkinson is looking to build a team capable of survival in the second tier after leading Wrexham<\/a> to automatic promotion from League One at the first attempt last year, and even though Ryan Hardie has already arrived at the club, as well as the expected addition of Josh Windass, Moore is also on their radar.<\/p>\n\n\n

Wrexham AFC urged to chase Kieffer Moore deal despite striker depth<\/p>\n

When asked about the prospect of signing Moore, FLW\u2019s Wrexham<\/a> fan pundit Liam Grice claimed he\u2019d be happy to welcome the forward to the club.<\/p>\n

He believes that the Wales international would be a level above their current options, and that he would be a brilliant addition to the side.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019d have told me a couple of years ago that Wrexham<\/a> were being linked with the kinds of players like Kieffer Moore, who scored goals in the Premier League, is a Wales international, I\u2019d be amazed,\u201d Grice<\/a> told Football League World.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I think I\u2019d be amiss if I didn\u2019t say I\u2019d welcome him signing for Wrexham.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I\u2019ve seen what he\u2019s done in the Premier League with Bournemouth, played for Sheffield United and with Cardiff in this division.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s scored goals, he\u2019s a consistent goal scorer, I\u2019ve seen what he\u2019s done for Wales as well obviously and he\u2019s been immense for us on the international stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the kind of marquee signing up front that would really give us a massive boost.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re linked with [Josh] Windass from Sheffield Wednesday, we\u2019ve got Sam Smith, we\u2019ve got Ryan Hardie, but Kieffer Moore is probably just that level above a player that you think \u2018wow, he\u2019s the centre of the team,\u2019 and if we got him in it would be a brilliant signing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wrexham have Smith, Hardie, Jack Marriott, Jay Rodriguez, Mo Faal, Ollie Palmer and Jake Bickerstaff on the books at the moment, so they should be looking to offload players at the moment – particularly in attack.<\/p>\n

But if they can shave the squad down, then bringing in Moore could make sense given his track record at this level.<\/p>\n

While he is 32, and he only managed five goals in the league last season, making the switch to Wrexham could be what he needs at this stage of his career.<\/p>\n
