{"id":287379,"date":"2025-07-24T07:55:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T07:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/287379\/"},"modified":"2025-07-24T07:55:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T07:55:10","slug":"passenger-plane-with-49-people-onboard-reported-missing-in-russias-far-east-russia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/287379\/","title":{"rendered":"Passenger plane with 49 people onboard reported missing in Russia\u2019s far east | Russia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">A passenger plane carrying 49 people has been reported as missing in Russia\u2019s far east and a search is under way, the regional governor has said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The local emergencies ministry said the An-24, operated by the Siberia-based airline Angara, dropped off radar screens while approaching its destination of Tynda, a town in the Amur region bordering China.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The regional governor, Vasily Orlov, said according to preliminary data, there were 43 passengers, including five children, and six crew members on board.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">\u201cAll necessary forces and means have been deployed to search for the plane,\u201d he wrote on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The emergencies ministry said the number of people onboard was about 40.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The Russian news agency Interfax reported emergency services as saying: \u201cThe An-24 plane was flying along the Khabarovsk-Blagoveshchensk-Tynda route. It failed to pass security checks near its final destination.
