Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News<\/a> that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s royal exit caused Queen Elizabeth a great deal of pain. She allegedly spent her final years in sorrow after the Sussexes departed from the family, stepping down from their royal roles in 2020. Moreover, Fordwich claimed that Harry caused \u201cunforgivable\u201d heartbreak for the late monarch and revealed that it was \u201cone of the very darkest periods of her reign regarding family matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The queen supposedly dubbed Harry and Markle\u2019s exit a \u201ccomplete catastrophe.\u201d Those around her seemingly \u201cknew of her sorrow and deep concern,\u201d and the apparent \u201croot of the massive rift\u201d between them and the royal family. Fordwich believes that the pain they \u201ccaused in the queen\u2019s waning years\u201d is beyond repair and unforgettable. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also echoed similar sentiments, claiming that their departure made her last years \u201cdifficult.\u201d<\/p>\n
