Swimming spots in Argyll, Aberdeenshire, and East Lothian were all singled out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">With July almost over and the end of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/scotland-now\/six-scottish-indoor-summer-weekend-35578533\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"summerLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">summer<\/a> in sight, it is important to make the most of the season while we can. For those looking for a unique activity, Scotland is home to many beauty spots that are perfectly suited for a snorkel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">On Tuesday, July 22, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/uk\/scotland\/article\/the-best-places-to-go-snorkelling-in-scotland-trfc95vdg\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"The Times publishedLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">The Times published<\/a> a list of the top destinations around Scotland for snorkelling. A total of five scenic spots for a snorkel are featured on the roundup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The best snorkelling spot in Scotland according to The Times is Loch Craignish. The attractive sea loch is found on the mid-Argyll coast, between <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/oban\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"ObanLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Oban<\/a> and the Crinan Canal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Loch Craignish is a gateway to the Isle of Jura sound, and is known for featuring in the 1963 <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/james-bond\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"James BondLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">James Bond<\/a> movie From Russia With Love. The loch is described as a &#8220;great site for beginners&#8221; <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/snorkel.scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk\/trails\/village-bay-loch-craignish\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"by the Scottish Wildlife TrustLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">by the Scottish Wildlife Trust<\/a>, with plenty for swimmers to discover in the seagrass bed close to the shore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">According to The Times, the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/scotland-now\/scotlands-most-beautiful-loch-named-35258229\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"lochLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">loch<\/a> is bursting with &#8220;colour and life&#8221;. Now packed with colour and life, shoals of two-spot gobies dart about.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;If you look closely, you will almost certainly spy a sea slug or two. Access directly opposite the village hall.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Loch Craignish has also been praised by day trippers, with the beauty spot having an overall rating of 4.7 out of five on Google based on 11 reviews. Previous visitors have described it as &#8220;breathtaking&#8221; and &#8220;spectacular&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Meanwhile, following behind in second place on The Times&#8217; roundup is High Shore Beach. The pebble beach is found near the Macduff Marine Aquarium in the Aberdeenshire town of Macduff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">According to the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/snorkel.scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk\/trails\/high-shore-beach-macduff\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Scottish Wildlife TrustLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Scottish Wildlife Trust<\/a>, High Shore Beach offers a wide selection of tide pools to investigate. Snorkellers may be able to spot a variety of interesting species\u2014with octopuses found there in the past.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The newspaper stated: &#8220;Rocky fingers project out to sea, hosting a maze of kelp-filled gullies that are part of the Moray Firth Snorkel Trail.
