Sheffield United’s niche summer recruitment has brought about a name, or at least a surname, that is more familiar to the Blades’ supporters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Gudjohnsen, the son of former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen, is a player that Ruben Selles’ side are monitoring.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon<\/a>, the young forward, who is looking to follow in the footsteps of his father, was being watched by one of the club’s top scouts while in action for Swedish side Malm\u00f6 FF in a Champions League qualifier.<\/p>\n

A move away from Scandinavia is likely for the 19-year-old former Barcelona and Real Madrid academy member<\/a>, as per the report<\/a>, with a return to England being the favoured option.<\/p>\n\n

United<\/a> have used AI a lot this summer to recruit players from left-field. The Manchester City striker is one of the best forwards around, and a number of clubs, chiefly Manchester United<\/a>, who could have brought him in before he became this world-renowned number nine have kicked themselves since.<\/p>\n
