The\u00a0Toronto International Film Festival<\/a>\u00a0announced today the TIFF 2025 selections for the highly regarded Midnight Madness program, \u00a0its signature slate of wicked wonders that are sure to delight and disturb the Festival\u2019s devoted and raucous late-night crowd.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition features seven World Premieres and is bookended by two of the year\u2019s most acclaimed midnight comedies. Midnight Madness opens with the Canadian Premiere of\u00a0<\/strong>Matt Johnson\u2019s Toronto-set\u00a0Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, b<\/strong>ased on Johnson\u2019s cult Viceland series and recipient of the Midnighter Audience Award at this year\u2019s SXSW. Horror-comedy Dead Lover<\/a><\/strong> closes out the fest\u2019s midnight section.<\/p>\n

Also look for Bryan Fuller\u2019s Dust Bunny<\/strong>, Ben Wheatley\u2019s<\/strong> latest shoot-out feature Normal <\/strong>starring Bob Odenkirk<\/strong>, and a ton of bone-crunching and over-the-top genre benders to round out this year\u2019s midnight slate.\u00a0<\/p>\n
