Valencia have confirmed that one of their key players has left the club, which could go on to affect Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United have made two new signings so far this summer: Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> from Brentford and Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Wolves. With two new additions to Ruben Amorim’s squad, United are already being linked with a third potential new signing.<\/p>\n

Valencia star Javi Guerra has been heavily linked with a move to United this summer. There have been reports that the Spain Under-21 international is being offered a new deal by the La Liga club, which is yet to be agreed and has led to United expressing an interest in a deal.<\/p>\n

If Guerra was to leave Valencia it would be another high-profile exit for the Spanish outfit. It was confirmed on Thursday that defender Cristhian Mosquera has left the club to complete a permanent move to Arsenal.<\/p>\n

In a statement released on their club website, Valencia confirmed that Mosquera has joined the Gunners after informing the club of his desire to move to the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

“Valencia CF and Arsenal FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Cristhian Mosquera to the London club,” the statement from Valencia read.<\/p>\n

“This decision comes as a result of the clear and unequivocal desire expressed by the player, who has made it clear he did not wish to renew his contract with Valencia CF and expressed his intention to join Arsenal FC exclusively.<\/p>\n

“Cristhian Mosquera joined the VCF Academy in 2016 and made his first-team debut in January 2022. Since then, he has played 90 official matches. Valencia CF wishes him the best of luck in the future.”<\/p>\n

Mosquera is not the only player to leave Valencia this summer, with goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili joining Liverpool<\/a> and defender Yarek Gasiorowski signing for PSV.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen what Valencia will have planned for Guerra, with reports indicating their desire to keep the talented midfielder at the Mestalla amid rumoured interest from United. The Reds could be in the market for a new midfielder following Christian Eriksen’s departure as a free agent.<\/p>\n
