It is the \u201ctype of splashy, sexy, global property that fits well with the streamer\u2019s image,\u201d and Apple is releasing the film, \u201cF1.\u201d The sport\u2019s \u201cdriver-facing camera angles and tech-focused productions could also become marketing vehicles\u201d for the spatial camera technology that powers Apple\u2019s Vision Pro headsets. Also, any rights fee \u201cwould be pocket change\u201d for a $3T company. Alexander wrote Liberty Media and Apple \u201ccould make a deal,\u201d but she wondered if the partnership would \u201cbe worth potentially sacrificing audience growth\u201d for the sport. Many in the industry argue that MLS\u2019s Apple deal has \u201cprevented the league from reaching its cultural potential.\u201d But a Harris Poll found that nearly 70% percent of MLS fans in the U.S. were \u201calso F1 viewers.\u201d For some, Apple\u2019s MLS investment \u201cmight be the argument against it betting on F1.\u201d Some MLS GMs \u201chave blamed Apple\u2019s exclusivity for hurting the league\u2019s growth.\u201d Apple\u2019s arrangement with MLS \u201cbenefits\u201d from the fact that the league also has a deal with Fox.
