Run by leader Niall Fisher, 26, and assisted by Dale O\u2019Sullivan, 31, they recruited couriers and local dealers into supplying class A drugs into areas suffering from drugs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">On day one of a two-day sentence hearing at <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/manchester-crown-court\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester Crown Court<\/a>, the court was told how the JJ drugs line infiltrated the small town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Prosecuting, Henry Blackshaw said that the conspiracies took place from November 2023 to August 2024 and involved the supply of crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin. It involved \u2018county lines\u2019 drug dealing, dealers from a large city supplying drugs into a smaller town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe people at the top of this operation were based in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/salford\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Salford<\/a> &#8211; this is where the wholesale quantities were being supplied from. The drugs were being supplied into Buxton &#8211; parts of which have an entrenched class A drugs problem,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Sign up to the MEN Court newsletter <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/newsletter-preference-centre\/?view=Solus&amp;mailingListId=20e6d460-68fa-42af-9907-eafc9053a79a&amp;utm_source=solusarticle\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"hereLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The court heard Niall Fisher was at the \u2018top\u2019 of the conspiracy, and was assisted by Dale O\u2019Sullivan, who was described as his \u2018lieutenant\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cTheir drug dealing business, operated under the name, \u201cthe JJ line\u201d. Within the team it is apparent that Fisher was known as \u201cTriple J\u201d and O\u2019Sullivan as \u201cDouble J\u201d,\u201d Mr Blackshaw added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWhile Fisher travelled to Buxton regularly, it is clear that O\u2019Sullivan was the main presence out of the pair of them, seemingly often staying down there through the week and returning to Salford at weekends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">He described Fisher as the \u2018controller\u2019 and O\u2019Sullivan as the \u2018organiser\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Kayleigh Harrison, 28, ended up being the most senior of the others involved in the conspiracy, acting as a conduit for the cash and point of contact with O\u2019Sullivan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The team marketed the drug via the JJ line, and used ten different mobile numbers over the course of the conspiracy to replace another if it was detected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">When the number changed, a message reading \u2018JJ New number\u2019 would go out to contacts before flare messages such as \u2018Active with both shout me JJ\u2019 and \u2018drops in 20\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The phones were also used to organise management of the team including checking how business was going, providing information about police presence and dealers in Buxton reports how much money they had made.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The JJ line numbers were operated using contact free \u2018pay-as-you-go\u2019 SIM cards. Scott Whysall, 37, was later caught on CCTV buying phone credit at a garage whilst he was with Niall Fisher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">It was the arrest and analysis of O\u2019Sullivan\u2019s phone in August 2024 that led to the identification of the others involved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Shakeel Stubley, 19, was arrested at his phone on Fairfield Road. He was curled up on the bed and when asked who he was he stated that he was \u201cShakeel from Salford\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Prosecutors described him as a \u2018paid employee\u2019 who was holding the drug line and stock to deal to the local market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Ermon Shala, 46, also known as \u2018Albo\u2019 was in regular contact with O\u2019Sullivan and acted as a courier, Mr Blackshaw said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Harrison, 28, was described as \u2018trusted\u2019 and said her relationship with Shala was like \u2018Bonnie and Clyde.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In messages to Anthony Fagan, 40, a local drug dealer, she said: \u201cI\u2019ve just given Albo that bit of doe so he can set off back home.\u201d She then wrote: \u201cWill you be dropping any cash off later mate?\u201d, to which his response was \u201cShould be shortly I\u2019m on 430 lol\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She responded: \u201cBloody hell you\u2019ve done well then mate. We\u2019ll [sic] give us a ring when you on your way up as don\u2019t wanna be to bed to late\u201d. She then asked him to \u2018save her a .2\u2019 to satisfy her drug habit, it was said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The court heard that Fagan and Damien McCarron, 46, acted as low level drug dealers around Buxton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Defending O\u2019Sullivan, Dan Gaskell said he became involved after developing a drug habit. He said he worked four days a week and went home to his family on the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">For Harrison, Megan Edwards, said she had a traumatic and disruptive childhood and had been using drugs as a teenager.
