Two unmissable blockbuster immersive experiences are now open in Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Beyond Van Gogh\u00a0and\u00a0Beyond Monet\u00a0are running at\u00a0Exhibition Centre Liverpool\u00a0until\u00a0Friday 15th\u00a0August.<\/p>\n

The multimedia attractions are being staged on separate days throughout the four-and-a-half-week residency at the waterfront landmark.<\/p>\n

And in addition to Beyond Monet receiving its European premiere in the city, both experiences feature enchanting new \u2018exit rooms\u2019 never seen anywhere else in the world before.<\/p>\n

The run was launched with a special VIP night where guests including Lord Mayor Cllr Barbara Murray and Liverpool stars of stage and screen enjoyed the first glimpse of\u00a0Beyond Monet.<\/p>\n

Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group,\u00a0Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience\u00a0has been enjoyed by thousands of people at venues in North America, and now it has come to the UK. Following Liverpool it will be staged in Edinburgh this Christmas.<\/p>\n

In the immersive impressionist extravaganza, cutting-edge technology breathes new life into\u00a0more than 400 of the legendary French painter\u2019s artworks, taking visitors on a spectacular and unforgettable audio-visual journey through his captivating and colourful world.<\/p>\n

Beyond Monet brings together some of the artist\u2019s most famous canvases \u2013 including\u00a0Poppies,\u00a0Impression: Sunrise\u00a0and his exquisite\u00a0Water Lilies\u00a0series \u2013 with lesser-known works which all swirl around the space, offering a fresh and exciting new look at much-loved masterpieces and a deeper connection with Monet, his subjects and his innovative technique.<\/p>\n

Taking inspiration from Mus\u00e9e\u00a0de l\u2019Orangerie in Paris, the designated home of Monet\u2019s works, visitors can freely roam the Infinity Room where they are transported inside the paintings themselves to the accompaniment of a moving original score.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile\u00a0Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience\u00a0brings together more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon\u2019s paintings blended with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history\u2019s most influential artists, with people able to\u00a0wander through iconic works \u2013 including\u00a0The Starry Night,\u00a0Sunflowers\u00a0and\u00a0Terrace of a Caf\u00e9 at Night\u00a0\u2013 as they come alive around them.<\/p>\n

It received its UK premiere in Liverpool in 2024, where it was a huge success, and has been seen by a total of seven million people worldwide.<\/p>\n

Both mesmerising and moving immersive experiences also include beguiling new additions for Liverpool, with visitors now leave the main attraction space through special exit rooms which extend the magical world of both artists.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Beyond Van Gogh\u00a0a winding path takes art lovers along a\u00a0Sunflower Alley\u00a0between projections of Vincent\u2019s houses and landscapes with the route flanked by a host of giant, vivid-hued flowers, while there are also benches where people can pause, contemplate and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.<\/p>\n

And for Beyond Monet, an exquisite\u00a0Waterlily Alley\u00a0transports people to the French Impressionist\u2019s beloved gardens at Giverny where they can walk across a re-creation of the famous green bridge spanning a shimmering representation of his famous lily ponds and under arches of cascading blooms.<\/p>\n

Along with the sights of Van Gogh and Monet\u2019s work, there are accompanying soundscapes featuring the song of birds found in Normandy and Provence \u2013 and visitors can also detect the natural aromas of the idyllic French settings.<\/p>\n

There are a range of ticket options for both experiences, including\u00a0VIP Experience\u00a0tickets, and new for 2025,\u00a0special family tickets and \u2018parent and child\u2019 tickets\u00a0which offer great savings on individual prices.<\/p>\n

And\u00a0a programme of complementary activities\u00a0includes Yoga, Pilates, breathwork and mediation, and \u2018paint and sip\u2019 sessions which will all take place within the immersive experiences.<\/p>\n
