A professor has revealed the five key signs you might be a psychopath – and what this could mean about your future. Consultant psychiatrist Ahmed Hankir, who is known on social media as @profahmedhankir, has taken to TikTok to share the sign you should watch out for in yourself and others.<\/a><\/p>\n To start, he says psychopaths can be “master <\/a>manipulators<\/a>” because they’re cunning, calculated and know exactly how to prey on your vulnerabilities. He said: “They will come across as sincere and disarming to slowly earn your trust but once they see a crack, they exploit it until you are emotionally drained and discarded.”<\/p>\n He says most people don’t realising this is happening until it’s too late, leaving them to pick themselves up at the end.<\/p>\n Next, he added: “Sign two is grandiose sense of self-worth. They don’t just think they are special, they know it, as if it a scientific fact.<\/p>\n “They see themselves as superior to others and believe rules apply to everyone else but not to them. Laws, morals, boundaries, these are for other people. In their mind, they are above reproach.”<\/p>\n One most people might be familiar with thanks to depictions of psychopath in movies, professor Hankir went on to speak about their lack of remorse or guilt.<\/p>\n
