Pedro Pascal<\/a> has found a simple way to manage his anxiety<\/a>. <\/p>\n The 50-year-old actor<\/a> spoke candidly about his mental health during an interview with Men\u2019s Health, published Wednesday. He said that engaging with other people makes him feel better when he has anxiety<\/a>, which is something he realized during the Covid-19 pandemic<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cI notice, especially during this period of the summer 2020, and the kind of isolation and how long my FaceTimes were, and my phone conversations, that I had started to make an effort to engage more, having previously lost that option in many ways,\u201d he said<\/a>. \u201cI can think back on high school, and college, and I was always such a talker with friends. Conversations on the phone, and then I don\u2019t know how many days had gone by where we stopped doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n The Eddington<\/a> star explained how fortunate he was to have built strong connections during the challenging moments of the pandemic. And he\u2019s continued to hold \u201conto\u201d those relationships \u201cvery much.\u201d<\/p>\n However, he\u2019s also tried to find other ways to manage his anxiety, which have not been as successful. <\/p>\n \u201cI was always one to reach out when I\u2019m facing something that is challenging or making me anxious,\u201d Pascal added. \u201cI definitely kind of stopped doing that, and instead I\u2019m doomscrolling, or looking for something to watch; looking for different ways to disassociate from the feeling I\u2019m having.\u201d<\/p>\n He said that when he \u201cstarted to feel so critical\u201d of himself during anxious moments, he realized that it was really his loved ones that he needed for support. <\/p>\n \u201cI had to go back to what was always the comfort for me in life, which was engagement in my relationships, my friendships, and conversation and shared experience,\u201d he concluded. <\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2223811143.jpeg\")
