{"id":290457,"date":"2025-07-25T11:30:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T11:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/290457\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T11:30:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T11:30:09","slug":"leeds-make-offer-worth-more-than-e30m-for-feyenoord-winger-igor-paixao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/290457\/","title":{"rendered":"Leeds make offer worth more than \u20ac30m for Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leeds United have tabled a bid worth in excess of \u20ac30million for Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao.<\/p>\n<p>Talks between Leeds, Feyenoord and Paixao\u2019s representatives have been ongoing since last week.<\/p>\n<p>Marseille have shown the greatest interest in signing the 25-year-old to this point but the Ligue 1 outfit, who are bound for next season\u2019s Champions League, have so far failed to bring their negotiations with the Dutch giants over the line.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds have now made their move for Paixao, with interest driven by sporting director Adam Underwood.<\/p>\n<p>A move to Elland Road would offer the Brazilian the chance to play Premier League football and take a similar path to compatriot Raphinha, who is now at Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Paixao scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 appearances for the Rotterdam outfit in last season\u2019s Eredivisie, as Feyenoord finished third.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the final stages of fellow Brazilian Lucas Perri\u2019s transfer to Leeds are progressing in Germany.
