A driver is being urged to come forward after a BMW ploughed into a bus stop in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The car crashed into the shelter close to the junction of Robin Hood Lane and Highfield Road in Hall Green<\/a>, at around 8.30pm last night.<\/p>\n

Luckily, no one was standing at the bus stop stop at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n

The driver is said to have left the scene before the police and fire service attended.<\/p>\n

The bus stop was significantly damaged and fire crews made the scene safe.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> is appealing to the driver or anyone with information to contact them.<\/p>\n

WMP said: “Shortly before 8.30pm last night (Thurs), we were called to Robin Hood Lane, at its junction with Highfield Road, Birmingham<\/a>, following reports a car had crashed into a bus shelter.<\/p>\n

“The driver had left the scene on arrival.<\/p>\n

“There were no reported injuries,” the statement added.<\/p>\n

Anyone with any information should contact police by calling 101 quoting log number 5063 of 24 July.<\/p>\n
