province.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The Murcia region has been badly hit and in the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, a major pilgrimage site, golf-sized hail balls smashed down on cars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Up to 20 residents from the city were evacuated and spent the night in a municipal sports pavilion,\u00a0according to\u00a0<a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The hail turned into enormous mounds of ice before quickly melting with rapids forming.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Mucky fast-flowing water streamed through the
