With Emi Mart\u00ednez\u2019s future still uncertain, Aston Villa could be keeping a close eye on Lucas Chevalier.<\/a><\/p>\n The Lille goalkeeper is reportedly available for around \u20ac40 million<\/a> this summer and has less than two years remaining on his contract.<\/p>\n There is no shortage of interest in Chevalier either, with L\u2019\u00c9quipe<\/a> reporting that he has already turned down offers from Bournemouth<\/a> and another Premier League club.<\/p>\n The outlet adds that the 23-year-old is not actively seeking a move away from Lille this summer, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future – similar to Villa\u2019s Mart\u00ednez.<\/p>\n Villa recently rejected a surprising loan bid from Manchester United for Mart\u00ednez, who is valued at around \u00a340 million.<\/p>\n With Villa needing to reduce their wage bill, Mart\u00ednez is seen as a possible departure, particularly as he is open to starting a new chapter in his career.<\/p>\n If Mart\u00ednez were to leave Villa in the coming weeks, a move for Chevalier could become a viable option for Monchi.<\/p>\n However, Paris Saint-Germain are also closely monitoring the situation, given the uncertainty surrounding their goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.<\/p>\n The Italy international is in the final year of his contract with PSG and has yet to sign an extension.<\/p>\n It is believed that Chevalier is PSG\u2019s top choice to replace Donnarumma, should he depart.<\/p>\n Should Villa target Chevalier if Martinez leaves?
