A dumped Love Island star has slammed the food served on the show as ‘pretty basic’.<\/p>\n
Chris Middleton<\/a> put the grub on this year’s drama-filled series of the hit dating show on blast.<\/p>\n The islander, from Manchester, arrived in the villa to ruffle feathers alongside the likes of fan favourites Cacherel Mercer and Ty Isherwood.<\/p>\n Although the 29-year-old didn\u2019t find love on the show – and was dumped after just two days – he has now lifted the lid on life in the villa, as reported by NeedToKnow<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stay connected with our City Life newsletter here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Talking to TikTok, the commercial real estate asset manager said: \u201cThe food is hit and miss, putting it politely.<\/p>\n \u201cYou wake up pretty much at lunchtime, so breakfast is lunch.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean we were having greek yoghurt bowls and fruit sometimes in the morning, but then lunch would be getting served half an hour later.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s like chicken curries or schnitzel or like boiled vegetables, rice.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s like pretty basic, shepherd\u2019s pie one time and then similar again in the evenings.<\/p>\n \u201cThen while you\u2019re eating, boys and girls are sat separately.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re not allowed any island life chat, that\u2019s why it\u2019s not filmed.\u201d<\/p>\n —<\/p>\n Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life.
