The alleged offenses relate to one woman and are reported to have taken place in January 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWard, 27,  is due to appear at Thames Magistrates\u2019 Court in London on August 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tScott Ware, the Met detective leading the investigation, said: \u201cOur specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward \u2013 we know investigations of this nature can have significant impact on those who make reports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWard has been dropped by UK agency Olivia Bell Management. When Deadline contacted the agency on Friday, an employee said: \u201cWe no longer represent him.\u201d His U.S. agent is CAA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWard first earned widespread recognition for his leading role in the Netflix series Top Boy. He played the role of Jamie opposite Kano and Ashley Walters. Ward then went on to star in feature projects like Blue Story, The Old Guard, and Empire of Light.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn 2020, he received BAFTA\u2019s EE Rising Star Award.
