{"id":291546,"date":"2025-07-25T21:09:15","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T21:09:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291546\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T21:09:15","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T21:09:15","slug":"chester-head-off-to-northern-ireland-for-friendly-encounter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291546\/","title":{"rendered":"Chester head off to Northern Ireland for friendly encounter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The Blues are tackling Glentoran tomorrow and while they\u2019re out in Northern Ireland, Chester will be conducting a two-day training camp.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Boss Calum McIntyre told Chester FC TV: \u201cWe\u2019ll get a different type of test in Northern Ireland, which we\u2019re all looking forward to.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cReally, it\u2019s just about gearing up to that opening game and I actually feel really positive about where the group\u2019s at and around where we\u2019re at on the pitch.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  CFU vice-chair Jim Green told the club\u2019s website. \u201cThe players and staff are excited to be heading across to Northern Ireland for what will be a demanding yet hugely rewarding few days.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThe facilities we will be using are first class and our hosts couldn\u2019t have done more for us. The opportunity for players to spend four days together in close proximity will be really valuable. They\u2019ll travel together, train together, eat together, and we\u2019ve planned some team-building activities for them to get stuck into too.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Connah\u2019s Quay players will be busy tomorrow.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Nomads have two friendlies lined up, starting with a morning friendly with Telford.
