A new report has suggested that financial troubles could be the reason behind\u00a0Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s peace talks with King Charles. The couple has been estranged from the British royal family for several years after they stepped down from their public roles in 2020. Harry and Meghan also ditched the United Kingdom to pursue a life in the United States.<\/p>\n

Recent reports have now claimed that they have been making efforts towards reconciliation. This comes after Netflix scrapped Harry and Meghan\u2019s $100 million deal. Meanwhile,\u00a0The Sun<\/a>\u2018s exclusive report states that, according to a royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will now be seeking assistance. Journalist and author Robert Jobson hinted at what the scrapped deal meant for Harry and Meghan.<\/p>\n

Jobson said, \u201cProbably with a bit of a bowl out,\u201d and added, \u201cLooking for some handouts.\u201d The journalist also speculated that this is why Harry and Meghan\u2019s team were having talks with the king and\u00a0queen\u2019s\u00a0director of communications. Additionally, Jobson also noted that Harry and Meghan \u201cgot support\u201d from the king and the late Queen Elizabeth \u201cin the past.\u201d However, the couple \u201csaid they were going to go and make their way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Jobson said, \u201cThey\u2019ve lost Spotify, they\u2019ve lost Netflix.\u201d This has seemingly resulted in financial troubles for Harry and Meghan. Rhiannon Mills, another guest on The Sun\u2019s Royal Exclusive show, also wondered how the couple will \u201ckeep the money coming in\u201d for their \u201cvery expensive lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another recent report also gave some\u00a0insight\u00a0into the reason behind Netflix calling off the deal. It may have been because Meghan seemed to prioritize her brand, \u201cAs Ever.\u201d The contract will expire in September.<\/p>\n
