{"id":291742,"date":"2025-07-25T22:52:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T22:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291742\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T22:52:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T22:52:09","slug":"zab-judah-says-canelo-vs-terence-crawford-ends-in-a-knockout-theyll-have-to-pack-him-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291742\/","title":{"rendered":"Zab Judah Says Canelo vs Terence Crawford Ends In A Knockout: &#8220;They&#8217;ll Have To Pack Him Up&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The undisputed super-middleweight title fight between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/canelo-alvarez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canelo Alvarez<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/terence-crawford\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terence Crawford<\/a> is just weeks away.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/boxing\/story\/_\/id\/45576009\/canelo-alvarez-terence-crawford-wild-weekend\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canelo will put his belts on the line against Crawford at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday 13 September<\/a>, with \u2018Bud\u2019 making the ambitious jump up two weight divisions from super-welterweight to super-middleweight for the clash.<\/p>\n<p>Crawford has spent the majority of his career campaigning at welterweight, but did step up to 154lbs for his last fight in Los Angeles in August 2024 when he defeated Israil Madrimov to win the WBA super-welterweight title.<\/p>\n<p>The big shift in weight for the Canelo showdown means many people view \u2018Bud\u2019 as the considerable underdog for the fight, but former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah appears to not be one of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fExAyM8Bcto?feature=shared\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Speaking to ESNews<\/a>, Judah was adamant that Crawford will be victorious against Canelo, even claiming that \u2018Bud\u2019 has what it takes to win by knockout.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cCrawford, no hesitation. Big \u2018Bud\u2019. We gonna have to roll Canelo up. We gonna have to pack him up baby. It\u2019s a very big challenge. With his skills, the way he\u2019s adapting to the size, brother, when I see them standing toe-to-toe and side-by-side, I said game over, Terence Crawford. And listen, don\u2019t be surprised if he stops him. Don\u2019t be surprised if Terence \u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford stops Canelo.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Judah isn\u2019t the only former world champion to back Crawford to pull off the upset, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/news\/deontay-wilder-on-canelo-vs-crawford\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with ex-WBC heavyweight king Deontay Wilder also revealing that he is backing \u2018Bud\u2019 to come out on top.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The undisputed super-middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford is just weeks away.
