{"id":291890,"date":"2025-07-26T00:11:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T00:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291890\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T00:11:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T00:11:11","slug":"wales-emerging-as-top-destination-for-gen-alpha-holidays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/291890\/","title":{"rendered":"Wales emerging as top destination for Gen Alpha holidays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Wales is emerging as a top destination to deliver these experiences, according to new research into UK Gen Alpha holiday preferences.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The study found that 75 per cent of 13 and 14-year-olds feel their daily lives lack excitement, with 22 per cent craving something new.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Richard Carpenter, owner of TYF Adventure Ltd, said: &#8220;This generation doesn\u2019t want holidays where they just sit still \u2013 they want adventure, to laugh, to explore, to conquer the challenge of something new, and to take home memories that will last a lifetime.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;You can see it in their faces \u2013 they light up when they\u2019re jumping off sea cliffs, navigating caves, or scrambling across the rocks together.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Carpenter said these experiences offer more than just a thrill.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He said: &#8220;They build confidence, connection, and a sense of accomplishment.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;It\u2019s active, it\u2019s wild, it\u2019s fun, and it\u2019s everything this age group is craving right now.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;That\u2019s the magic of Wales.
