{"id":292333,"date":"2025-07-26T04:05:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T04:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/292333\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T04:05:20","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T04:05:20","slug":"men-jailed-over-1m-sheffield-cannabis-factory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/292333\/","title":{"rendered":"Men jailed over \u00a31m Sheffield cannabis factory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Two men arrested when police raided a \u00a31m cannabis farm have been jailed.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Officers found Mark Gjonaj, 28, and Kristian Zefi, 31, inside a commercial unit on Sussex Street, Sheffield, in March tending to more than 1,100 plants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">South Yorkshire Police said the grow posed a &#8220;serious fire hazard&#8221; to neighbouring buildings as its electricity supply had been hooked up to an underground mains cable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Gjonaj, of no fixed abode, and Zefi, of Upminster Road, in Havering, London, were both jailed for 16 months each after they pleaded guilty to attempting to produce cannabis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two men arrested when police raided a \u00a31m cannabis farm have been jailed.
