Leeds United have Jack Harrison on their books again this summer, having returned to Daniel Farke\u2019s side from two loan spells with Everton.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For most\u00a0Leeds United<\/a>\u00a0fans,\u00a0Jack Harrison<\/a>\u00a0is someone without a future at the club after choosing to activate the clause following Leeds\u2019 relegation back in 2023.<\/p>\n

Despite his struggles of late,\u00a0David Prutton would retain Harrison<\/a>\u00a0but the majority of fans are clear on what his next steps should be, with many\u00a0Leeds supporters wanting to send Harrison to Rangers<\/a>\u00a0after the takeover of the 49ers.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported previously by\u00a0Leeds United News<\/strong>\u00a0in an\u00a0exclusive<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0Leeds could yet retain Jack Harrison<\/a>\u00a0this summer and reintegrate him in the same way that Brenden Aaronson and Max Wober have been previously by Farke.<\/p>\n

That appears to be a distinct possibility thus far. Of course, in the eyes of many, the choice might be out of their hands, with the winger having a contract until 2028 at Elland Road.\u00a0Leeds have a \u2018problem\u2019 with Harrison<\/a>\u00a0in that sense.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Everton fans don\u2019t want Harrison to return<\/a>\u00a0this summer, but Leeds have hinted it\u2019s in Harrison\u2019s best interests<\/a> to leave in this window, in spite of his pre-season utilisation in Germany so far.<\/p>\n

Graham Smyth has discussed the future of Harrison via The Square Ball podcast, with the situation flexible as to what happens to Harrison before the end of the transfer window.<\/p>\n

Dan Moylan asked: \u201cHow\u2019s Jack Harrison looked in training? Is he part of the group? Are they shunning him? Are they bullying him?\u201d<\/p>\n

Smyth responded: \u201cI think we need to wait for the results of the paintball session to know exactly how the squad feels about Jack Harrison. If he comes back absolutely covered in welts and bruises, then I think we\u2019ll know.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, he\u2019s looked like he\u2019s part of it \u2014 like he looks like he\u2019s working hard. He, to be honest, watching him in training and watching him in games, it doesn\u2019t really look any different to how it looked before.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s still getting up and down. And what struck me during the game against SC Verl was that Farke is giving a lot of input to Harrison. Now, he has to because Dan James knows the system a lot more. He knows the way he wants to play, Gnonto similarly.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarrison was getting a lot of input from Farke and I wonder would he be investing so much time and energy into a player if he thought this player wasn\u2019t going to be here to be used? I mean, obviously, things can change and he can move on.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut yeah, it just made me wonder, is Farke preparing for a season with Harrison among his options? Which will be an interesting one I think for the fanbase to deal with.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy concern or my feeling about it would be: who\u2019s going to stump up the necessary money \u2014 if not in transfer fee \u2014 then in wages for Jack Harrison after one goal and one assist at Everton last season?\u201d<\/p>\n

Some Leeds fans will be concerned that Harrison has been impressing in Leeds training so far<\/a>. Many of them have made their feelings known and made that known via the booing Harrison received from Leeds fans<\/a>\u00a0against Man United.<\/p>\n

He is one of eight players who can leave Leeds this summer<\/a>. The likes of Darko Gyabi, Sam Greenwood, and Joe Gelhardt are among that group and are not in Germany currently.<\/p>\n

The same is true of Patrick Bamford, albeit for different reasons to Mateo Joseph. On top of those are Illan Meslier and Isaac Schmidt, with both facing uncertain futures after the way last season panned out.<\/p>\n
