{"id":292691,"date":"2025-07-26T07:19:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T07:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/292691\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T07:19:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T07:19:10","slug":"work-continues-on-birmingham-camp-hill-line-railway-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/292691\/","title":{"rendered":"Work continues on Birmingham Camp Hill Line railway project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">VolkerFitzpatrick is the principal contractor for the three new stations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It has cleared all three sites for construction, and in May two lift shafts were installed at each of the stations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">They arrived in sections and were assembled using a crane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Kings Heath Station, which had its lift shafts installed first, has also had paving and surfacing work carried out and canopies have been erected over the platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Last month it had a footbridge installed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The operation took place overnight on 21 and 22 June, during which the pre-fabricated footbridge was carefully lifted into place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"VolkerFitzpatrick is the principal contractor for the three new stations.
