Manchester United are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League, but that doesn\u2019t begin to tell the story of a crazy night at Old Trafford.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We know that Manchester United<\/a> have, historically, loved a late show.<\/p>\n

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Bayern Munich and Liverpool spring to mind, as does Michael Owen against Manchester City.<\/p>\n

Harry Maguire has now added his name to that list after scoring in extra time to complete a stunning United fightback against Lyon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United drew 2-2 with Lyon last week<\/a> but appeared to be down and out against 10 men, trailing 4-2 on the night with just 10 minutes to play.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo dragged United level, but there was more drama to come as Maguire headed home the winner to spark absolute bedlam inside Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There have been some bonkers nights at Old Trafford over the years, but few will match the madness against Lyon.<\/p>\n

United were up, down, out, back in and suddenly through to the semi-finals in a topsy-turvy night.<\/p>\n

United will look back at four Lyon goals and feel that most of them were soft, but we can\u2019t really point the finger at Andre Onana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The United stopper couldn\u2019t really do much about Lyon\u2019s goals on the night with those in front of him letting him down at times.<\/p>\n

Onana is certainly buzzing with the victory, though, and took to X to share a four-word reaction.<\/p>\n

\u2018Built with Onana mentality\u2019 said the United goalkeeper, sharing photos of his celebrations as United pulled off an absolute miracle.<\/p>\n

Onana will be pleased with the mentality on show, not just from himself, but also the United side as a whole.<\/p>\n

United came back from the brink on Thursday night and Onana himself battled through adversity in the build up to the game.<\/p>\n

Onana struggled against Lyon<\/a> last week as he allowed two soft goals in the United net.<\/p>\n

Amorim dropped Onana from the United squad<\/a> against Newcastle United on Sunday, believing that he needed to recharge his batteries.<\/p>\n

Onana clashed with Nemanja Matic<\/a> before last week\u2019s game, too, so the combination of on-field performance and off-field jabs left Onana under something of a cloud.<\/p>\n

United fans were right behind Onana from the get-go, though, and the Cameroonian made some fine saves on the night.<\/p>\n

Onana let the emotion out as Maguire scored the winner, spring over to celebrate with boss Ruben Amorim on the touchline.<\/p>\n
