It’s no secret that couples tend to rub off on each other. Prince William<\/a>\u2019s been spotted borrowing Kate Middleton\u2019s parenting moves<\/a> and Princess Catherine<\/a> has clearly taken a few style notes from her husband<\/a>. As for Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/a>? The trend holds true and Harry\u2019s latest move proves it.<\/p>\n

On July 19, NYC tattoo artist Joshua Lord, owner of the celeb-favorite East Side Ink, took to Instagram to share a photo of a handwritten letter he received from the Duke of Sussex. Harry had visited the Manhattan parlor back in September 2024 and while he didn\u2019t get inked, the visit was part of a special filming session tied to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025<\/a>. A group photo from that day also featured country star Jelly Roll<\/a>, who headlined the Games’ closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

The letter, dated October 17, 2024, seemed genuine, thoughtful and a little cheeky. \u201cDear Josh, thank you so much for your generosity in offering us your space at East Side Ink for filming,\u201d it began. \u201cIt was incredibly kind, and I really enjoyed meeting you and learning more about the history of your shop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI also appreciated your artful handling of press questions regarding my visit, it means a lot and I was rather impressed by your skillful dodging! Well done,” Harry added. “They\u2019ll be in for a shock when they see the final cut.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex wrapped up by extending a personal invite, \u201cIf you\u2019d like to come to Vancouver in February, we\u2019d love to have you! All the best, Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sound familiar? That thoughtful handwritten note is very Meghan Markle-coded (a.k.a. it’s something she’s done numerous times before as well).<\/p>\n

Back in March, the Duchess of Sussex made headlines for sending a surprise letter<\/a> to Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast host Amanda Hirsch after she expressed concern online about Meghan\u2019s Netflix project. Meghan\u2019s response? Short, sweet and reassuring, \u201cDear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don\u2019t be! This is the fun part \u2014 let\u2019s enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In both cases, it\u2019s a reminder that despite royal titles and global spotlights, a\u00a0personal\u00a0note still goes a long way\u2014and it seems Prince Harry may be picking up on one of Meghan\u2019s most charming habits.<\/p>\n
