Hit streaming show returns for second season and is seeking brave new voices from Wales<\/p>\n

ONE of Channel 4\u2019s biggest new streaming successes, Virgin Island, is set to return for a second series\u2014and producers are urging people in Wales to come forward and apply.<\/p>\n

The show, which follows a group of adult virgins as they explore intimacy and confidence-building in a luxury Mediterranean retreat, has become Channel 4\u2019s most-watched unscripted programme among 16\u201334-year-olds in 2025. Now, casting is open for series two, and the production team at Double Act is hoping to hear from Welsh applicants keen to take part in the groundbreaking documentary.<\/p>\n

Patrick Morley, from the show\u2019s production team, told The Pembrokeshire Herald: \u201cWe\u2019d love to see people from all parts of the UK represented in this next series, and that definitely includes Wales. We\u2019re looking for people with real stories who are ready to make a change in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show made waves for its bold, sensitive, and warm approach to a subject often left undiscussed\u2014adult virginity. Under the guidance of leading sexologists, participants undertake a personal journey in self-discovery, trust, and emotional connection, all within the supportive setting of the show\u2019s luxury island location.<\/p>\n

The first season has already racked up nearly nine million views and attracted widespread praise from viewers and critics alike. Former contestant Dave said: \u201cI had an amazing time on the Island. My confidence grew so much and it completely changed my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Channel 4\u2019s Chief Content Officer, Ian Katz, called it \u201cthe kind of show only Channel 4 would make,\u201d praising its combination of \u201cwarmth, sensitivity and wit.\u201d<\/p>\n
