Bryan Mbeumo could make his Manchester United debut against Everton on August 3.<\/p>\n
United signed Mbeumo from Brentford in time for him to travel to the US for the pre-season tour, but he was absent from the squad against West Ham in New Jersey due to his late arrival from Brentford.<\/p>\n
When asked by MUTV for an update on Mbeumo, Ruben Amorim said: “He is not going to play the next one (vs Bournemouth). We hope to have Bryan in the last game (vs Everton). He is training now, so we will see.”<\/p>\n
Amorim confirmed that Mbeumo will not play in the second US friendly against Bournemouth but that the Cameroon international could play against Everton in the final tour fixture.<\/p>\n
United will end their visit to the States against Everton at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on August 3.<\/p>\n
Brentford’s pre-season started a week later than United’s and Mbeumo is not deemed match-fit<\/a>, so the club are carefully handling the \u00a365million signing ahead of the new season.<\/p>\n Mbeumo still took part in a cool-down on the pitch after United’s 2-1 victory against West Ham.<\/p>\n When United return from the US, they will welcome Fiorentina to Old Trafford<\/a> on August 9 for their final pre-season friendly before playing Arsenal in their opening game of the Premier League<\/a> season eight days later.<\/p>\n United have spent \u00a3127.5million on Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha this summer.
