\n Pippatopia was created by former science teacher Rachel Butler, with backing from a business support fund.\n<\/p>\n
\n The caf\u00e9, on Fenton Street, was inspired by Rachel’s experiences and challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.\n<\/p>\n
\n She aimed to provide a space that sparks imagination and builds confidence through play.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Butler said: “I wanted to create a joyful, inspiring space where kids can just be kids \u2014 and adults can enjoy a break with great coffee.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Pippatopia offers immersive roleplay areas, a sensory room, and inclusive sessions for families, including those with children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND).\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Butler’s vision was realised with support from Business Growth West Midlands (BGWM) Sandwell.\n<\/p>\n
\n She received a \u00a33,000 start-up grant and took a business enterprise course to learn key skills.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Butler said: “The support I received from Helen and BGWM Sandwell has been truly transformational, helping me to make my vision a reality.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Pippatopia is more than just a roleplay caf\u00e9. It\u2019s a vibrant community hub.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The venue has created jobs, with Rachel hiring a full-time and part-time staff member, and has plans for further growth.\n<\/p>\n
