A woman left her ex-boyfriend after stabbing him<\/a> with a kitchen knife in an ‘unprovoked attack’.<\/p>\n Courtney Mulchrone attacked her ex the morning after a night out on May 5 last year. He suffered serious injuries and was left in a coma.<\/p>\n Mulchrone, 27, of Bradford, West Yorks<\/a>, was found guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm<\/a> following the stabbing outside a caravan on Dobrudden Caravan Park, Baildon Moor, Bradford. Mulchrone had already admitted causing damage to a vehicle prior to the stabbing.<\/p>\n She was jailed for six years and three months. Judge Jonathan Rose, described the incident as an ‘unprovoked attack’ which resulted in the stabbing, it was reported.<\/p>\n Sign up to the MEN Court newsletter here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Det Insp Mark Nicholson said: “Mulchrone consistently stated that she acted in self-defence but was convicted by a jury of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.<\/p>\n “She left her victim with life threatening injuries. It’s only by sheer luck that he survived.<\/p>\n
