{"id":296109,"date":"2025-07-27T14:46:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-27T14:46:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/296109\/"},"modified":"2025-07-27T14:46:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-27T14:46:16","slug":"alexander-dunne-penalised-following-spa-francorchamps-feature-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/296109\/","title":{"rendered":"Alexander Dunne penalised following Spa Francorchamps Feature Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the conclusion of Sunday\u2019s Spa-Francorchamps Feature Race, Rodin Motorsport\u2019s Alexander Dunne has been penalised.<\/p>\n<p>After the race, Car 17 was referred to the Stewards by the Technical Delegate for an alleged breach of Article 1.6.1 FIA Formula 2 Technical Regulations, after failing to engage the start-up procedure.<\/p>\n<p>A defined set-up procedure activation must be used during all formation starts and race starts and Car 17\u2019s data shows that the driver did not engage the starting procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The Stewards then spoke to a team representative and the driver and having considered the matter extensively elected to give Dunne a 10-second time penalty in accordance with the FIA F2 penalty guideline.
