Nuno Espirito Santo insists Nottingham Forest will adopt a “no excuses” policy for their Premier League clash with Manchester United at the City Ground on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Forest have been drained by Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Brighton, which they won on penalties after 120 minutes of play finished goalless to set up a last-four appointment with Manchester City.<\/p>\n
Nuno revealed that every player in his squad is being assessed ahead of the visit of United, but whoever is available he expects the push for Champions League football to continue without pause.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo excuses. Don\u2019t give anyone excuses. We\u2019re going to go. We\u2019ll assess the players, we\u2019ll prepare for the game and we’re going to compete,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very difficult on the players but they are recovering well. They are always being positive so we are confident we can perform against a good team.<\/p>\n

Striker Chris Wood missed the victory over Brighton because of a hip injury sustained on international duty for New Zealand and he remains a doubt against Ruben Amorim\u2019s United.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is improving. He\u2019s getting better day by day. We have to assess him day by day,\u201d Nuno said.<\/p>\n
