Hugh Grosvenor<\/strong><\/a>, the Duke of Westminster, and wife Olivia Henson<\/strong> are officially parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Duke and Duchess of Westminster are thrilled to announce the birth of their baby daughter,\u201d the couple told Hello! <\/a>in a Sunday, July 27, statement. \u201cThey have named her Cosima Florence Grosvenor, who was born in London today.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cBoth the Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess now look forward to spending this special time together as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke in March that Grosvenor was expecting his first baby<\/a> with Henson.<\/p>\n

Henson, 30, looked gorgeous in a classy white gown while tying the knot with Hugh Grosvenor on Friday, June 7, at the Chester Cathedral in England. Her gown, designed by Emma Victoria Payne, featured a scalloped lacy neckline, long sleeves, a pleated belt and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cThe duchess is expecting a baby in the summer,\u201d a spokesperson for Grosvenor and Henson said at the time. \u201cThe couple are delighted with the news and are very much looking forward to starting a family together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grosvenor married Henson in June 2024, eight years after inheriting his dukedom. Hugh\u2019s father, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, previously presided over the Westminster duchy until his death in 2016 following a heart attack.<\/p>\n

Hugh also does philanthropic work, including running the Westminster Foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re focusing our efforts where we believe we can make the greatest impact through grant funding, helping charities grow stronger and more resilient,\u201d Hugh said in a June statement<\/a>. \u201c[We\u2019re also] teaming up with others to push for broader positive change.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, Hugh has impressive royal ties as the godson of King Charles III<\/strong> and a longtime friend of Prince William<\/strong>. (The Prince of Wales, 43, even named Hugh as his eldest son Prince George\u2019s godfather.)<\/p>\n

Kate took a step back from her official royal duties as she underwent chemotherapy, which she completed in fall 2024. She is now in remission.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cYou put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment\u2019s done, then it\u2019s like, \u2018I can crack on, get back to normal,\u2019 but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult,\u201d Kate recalled during a public appearance<\/a> earlier in July. \u201cYou\u2019re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you\u2019re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to. Someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.\u201d<\/p>\n
