The event served as a bold reminder of the continued importance of Pride, especially in today\u2019s global climate.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pride-via-gok-wan-2025-19-of-571-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38205\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The party continued well into the evening, with show-stopping performances on Lower Briggate from Liberty X, Booty Luv, Kelly Llorena and Angie Brown. Fans also enjoyed tributes from Smalltown Boy, The Voice of Whitney and Sweet Like Sabrina, while Queenz brought their high-energy Drag Me to the Disco show to the main stage. Hosting duties were shared by Soraya Vivian and Matt Jameson, who kept the atmosphere buzzing throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pride-via-gok-wan-2025-26-of-571-16.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38207\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>A brand-new cabaret stage launched this year, headlined by RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard and a glittering mix of local drag acts. Over in Millennium Square, the community stage offered a warm and welcoming space with performances from Drag Queen Le Fil and West Yorkshire\u2019s LGBTQ+ choir, Gay Abandon.<\/p>\n<p>Festivalgoers also explored an expanded family area, the biggest-ever street food and market offering at Leeds Pride, and an electric atmosphere that carried through every corner of the site.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pride-via-gok-wan-2025-17-of-571-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38206\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Local businesses saw a major boost too, as the event drove thousands of visitors into the city centre. Many shops, bars and restaurants joined the Eat Pride, Drink Pride scheme, giving exclusive offers to Pride wristband holders.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Leeds Pride said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeeds Pride 2025 was a truly unforgettable day. Even as the rain came down, the city filled with people standing together \u2013 a powerful show of support for our LGBTQ+ community and allies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith everything happening around the world, Pride remains as vital as ever. We\u2019re incredibly proud of everyone who helped make the day so special, and we\u2019re already looking ahead to next year as we prepare to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
