It\u2019s not tricky to spot a posh person out in the wild in London. They\u2019ll normally be doing stuff like jaunting down luxury shopping streets<\/a>,\u00a0visiting\u00a0multiple Michelin-star restaurants<\/a>\u00a0or attending a night at the opera. And at the end of the day, they\u2019ll go back to their\u00a0London home worth a\u00a0few\u00a0million or more. <\/p>\n

But which part of London has the largest population of poshos? Well,\u00a0new research by property brokerage Jefferies James could tell us. It has done some digging into which London areas are home to the most \u2018prime\u2019 properties, defining \u2018prime\u2019 has anywhere that has an asking price upwards of \u00a32 million.\u00a0It found that across the whole city, around 6 percent of all properties are on the market\u00a0for two mill or more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kensington and Chelsea has the largest proportion of posh homes\u00a0in the city. Just over 32 percent of its properties that are listed right now are on sale for \u00a32m or above. The City of Westminster is right behind it with 30.9 percent of its properties on sale for two mill or more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you know London, it\u2019s hardly surprising news. Both west London boroughs are home to the vast majority of the most expensive streets in the whole of the UK<\/a>, in the likes of Knightsbridge, Mayfair and Belgravia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The borough of Camden was next with 15.5 percent of properties costing from \u00a32m, then it was the City of London with 13.2 percent and Hammersmith and Fulham with 10.8 percent. Other boroughs with more \u2018prime\u2019 properties than London\u2019s overall average were Richmond upon Thames, Barnet, Islington and Wandsworth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the bottom of the pack was the borough of Barking and Dagenham, which apparently had a grand total of zero properties on sale for over \u00a32m at the time of the study.\u00a0<\/p>\n
