The Belgian rider from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idlprocycling.com\/visma-lease-a-bike\" title=\"Visma | Lease a Bike\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visma <\/a>| Lease a Bike attacked on the Montmartre and pulled away from yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idlprocycling.com\/lance-armstrong\" title=\"Lance Armstrong\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lance Armstrong<\/a>, George Hincapie, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idlprocycling.com\/bradley-wiggins\" title=\"Bradley Wiggins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bradley Wiggins<\/a> were impressed by Van Aert&#8217;s performance on Sunday, they said in their <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ydzpmXpfoBU&amp;list=PLVxvkgh82tFopMoCcV4AgNqvgeBj2JfPq\" rel=\"noopener\">THEMOVE<\/a> podcast.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was classic Wout van Aert,\u201d Armstrong expressed his admiration in the episode titled \u201cThe Reemergence of Wout van Aert.\u201d \u201cHe did something that no one else has managed to do in three weeks: he dropped Pogacar. When you add everything together \u2014the weather, this route \u2014it&#8217;s such a great victory. What he did was a boss move,\u201d said the former cyclist from Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Hincapie praises the resilience of the Belgian rider from Visma | Lease a Bike. \u201cLook at what happened last year in the Vuelta. He crashed so badly, but now he&#8217;s back with a super strong spring and then goes on to do the Giro and Tour.\u201d The American sees Van Aert&#8217;s victory as a positive highlight for his team. \u201cThey had a plan.
