{"id":298465,"date":"2025-07-28T12:33:18","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T12:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/298465\/"},"modified":"2025-07-28T12:33:18","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T12:33:18","slug":"portugals-isto-gets-new-backer-plans-london-store-within-a-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/298465\/","title":{"rendered":"Portugal&#8217;s ISTO gets new backer, plans London store within a year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article-content col-md-8 offset-md-1\">\n                                Portuguese fashion label ISTO has announced a strategic partnership with investment and operational firm Altaz Capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"news-image\" style=\"width:100%;max-width:774px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/c125.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> ISTO<\/p>\n<p>Altaz, which was founded only this year, specialises in supply chain optimisation, operations, logistics, international expansion, and financial strategy, will support the firm\u2019s \u201cmeasured growth\u201d based on its international expansion plan.<\/p>\n<p>That plan includes global growth including the aim of opening a store in London in the next eight-to-12 months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">The partnership is effective immediately, with joint initiatives already under way to enhance the brand\u2019s operations and strengthen its financial foundations.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-year-old menswear label said the link-up \u201cmarks a significant step\u201d in its \u201cmission to build a globally recognised brand through steady, sustainable growth rather than rapid, unsustainable scale\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It added that both companies share a belief that \u201cdoing the right thing takes time, hard work, and risk\u201d and have come together to blend ISTO\u2019s \u201ccommitment to timeless design made in Portugal and transparency with Altaz Capital\u2019s operational expertise and hands-on approach\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Brand co-founder and CEO Pedro Palha explained: \u201cAs we thought about ISTO\u2019s next step we wanted to ensure we had the right expertise and partners who\u2019d work alongside us daily. Altaz Capital is exactly that kind of partner. Their team brings a global background and connections, with a critical know-how in strategy, operations, and finance, which will help us strengthen our foundation and grow internationally at the right pace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lisbon-based ISTO has a belief in \u201cradical transparency, timeless product design, and 100% Portuguese production\u201d.
