Princess Charlotte<\/a>\u00a0is celebrating with\u00a0Prince William<\/a>!\n<\/p>\n On Sunday, July 27, the royal dad and daughter posted a joint message congratulating England’s women’s soccer team \u2014 nicknamed ‘The Lionesses’ \u2014 after they beat Spain in the final of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.\n<\/p>\n “What a game! @Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @england,” Charlotte, 10, and William, 43, wrote on instagram, before signing it off “W & Charlotte”\n<\/p>\n Their video captured some highlights of the night \u2014 including a sweet moment of father and daughter bonding on the pitch, as they watched the Lionesses dance a victory jig on the podium surrounded by confetti and streamers.<\/p>\n Charlotte and Prince William watching the team celebrate their win in Basel, Switzerland on July 27, 2025.<\/p>\n The Prince and Princess of Wales\/Instagram<\/p>\n The England team had gone one goal down to Spain during the first half of the game, but drew level in the second period. With the game still tied after an extra 30 minutes had been played, the contest went to penalties, with England ultimately coming out on top. He traveled to the high-stakes match at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland, in a show of support for England’s women’s soccer squad, whom he helped send off <\/a>from their training base. William has previously described his only daughter as a\u00a0“budding star” in soccer<\/a>\u00a0and, in 2022, passed along a message from Charlotte to the national team when he visited them.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n “Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal.
