His Prime Minister Fran\u00e7ois Bayrou, meanwhile, slammed the accord as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/french-pm-francois-bayrou-castigates-eu-us-trade-deal-act-of-submission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an act of \u201csubmission\u201d<\/a> to Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s main industry lobby BDI said it sent \u201ca fatal sign\u201d regarding the future of transatlantic trade.
