Jax Taylor<\/a> is taking cutting ties with his eponymous bar, Jax’s Studio City.<\/p>\n

After fans noticed the establishment’s sign had been removed, a rep for the star confirmed to TMZ <\/a>that Jax had ended his partnership with the business in order to focus on his sobriety and mental health.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The rep described the decision as a\u00a0‘carefully considered and necessary step to prioritize his sobriety and mental health.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jax, 46, and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, 36, opened<\/a> the watering hole in October 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pop culture commentator\u00a0Ryan Bailey shared a snap of Jax’s Studio City with it’s lightbulb-infused sign noticeably missing prior to news of the reality star’s departure on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Thx to @britacular for getting me a pic. The sign has come down. Are they putting up a new sign, rebranding or something more?’ Bailey, who hosts the podcast So Bad It’s Good, noted on Instagram.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The announcement came not long after fans noticed the unmissable sign was noticeably missing from the exterior\u00a0<\/p>\n

The news of Jax’s bar comes after he announced he would be stepping away from season three of The Valley.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I\u2019ll be stepping away from the next season,’ he said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly.<\/a><\/p>\n

‘Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself \u2014 especially for our son, Cruz,’ he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On a recent episode of the Bravo reality series, Jax’s ex Brittany accused him of drinking just days after he got out of rehab following a month-long stint in the facility.<\/p>\n

A source close to production told Daily Mail that Jax and Bravo had ‘mutual discussions’ and the network ‘respects and supports his decision.’<\/p>\n

During the most recent episode, Jax visited Brittany at her rental property for a discussion about establishing ‘boundaries’ while co-parenting their four-year-old son Cruz.<\/p>\n

However, their cordial sit-down quickly turned hostile as the estranged couple got into a shouting match.<\/p>\n

Amid their custody battle, which has quickly turned bitter, Brittany admitted she was having doubts about his sobriety in a confessional.<\/p>\n

Jax \u2014 who in March revealed the ‘sickening’ amount of cocaine he consumed after Cartwright walked out last year \u2014 stunned viewers with a horrific insult directed at his estranged wife when he made a blunt confession about their crumbling marriage.<\/p>\n

‘I think after Jax got out of the facility, it took him less than five days to go back to the bars and start partying again,’ Cartwright claimed.<\/p>\n

‘It’s just so disappointing, like, he did not take anything seriously,’ she added.<\/p>\n

Cartwright also accused Taylor of having others cover for him when he said he was drinking water.<\/p>\n

She explained her desire to protect him at the time because she didn’t want him to ‘get in trouble.’<\/p>\n

‘If he’s not saying it, how am I supposed to be the one saying it? I tried, and at least I know that,’ she said.<\/p>\n

‘I really loved that man and I really tried to make him a better person. Like, how do you continue to be there for somebody who will not even change for you and your son?’<\/p>\n
