A man has been arrested after armed police were called to a residential street in Glasgow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officers<\/a> were called to Nelson Street in Baillieston after the alarm was raised at around 12.40pm on Monday.<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> were responding to reports of a “disturbance” within a property on the street. Pictures taken from the scene showed a number of police vehicles in attendance.<\/p>\n

Armed police were called in and a 34-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.<\/p>\n

The nature of the disturbance is so far unclear but no one was injured as a result.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cAround 12.40pm on Monday, July 28, 2025 police received a report of a disturbance within a property in Nelson Street, Baillieston, Glasgow.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers<\/a> attended and a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance. No-one was injured.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 34-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.\u201d<\/p>\n
