\"StaffordshireStaffordshire Police is appealing for the public’s help to identify three people who fled a grey Nissan van after a horror crash at Aston Wood Golf Club in Sutton Coldfield, which has left a woman in her 60s fighting for her life<\/p>\n

Detectives have named a woman who died after she was struck by a van at a golf course.<\/p>\n

Suzanne Cherry, of Aldridge, sustained grave injuries after she was hit by a grey Nissan at the Aston Wood Golf Club at 10.25am on Friday (April 11).<\/p>\n

The 62-year-old was airlifted to hospital where she tragically lost her battle for life on Tuesday night (15 April).<\/p>\n

After identifying her for the first time, West Midlands Police<\/a> also revealed that they had arrested three men on Wednesday (April 16).<\/p>\n

A 51-year-old man, from Bloxwich, was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 22-year-old man, from Dudley<\/a>, on suspicion of manslaughter and assisting an offender.<\/p>\n

A 41-year-old man, from Worcester, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.<\/p>\n

All three are being questioned by detectives in custody in Staffordshire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police said: “We are continuing to search for a man that was seen leaving Aston Wood Golf Club, on Blake Street, on foot after the collision.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re piecing together his movements after the collision, speaking to witnesses and going through the footage that we\u2019ve collected and that have been sent to us after our appeals.<\/p>\n

“If you have any dashcam, CCTV, doorbell footage or if you were in the area of Blake Street and Birmingham<\/a> Road between Sutton Coldfield<\/a> and Shenstone at approximately 10.25am on Friday please get in touch.<\/p>\n

“The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is investigating the circumstances prior to the collision when officers from West Midlands Police had responded to the vehicle being involved in reports of suspicious activity.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve created an online portal where people can leave information they may have. You can access the Major Incident Public Portal, here: https:\/\/orlo.uk\/eoqC1<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
