A recent video showing a luxury bus full of IPS officers entering Aamir Khan\u2019s residential compound<\/a> had sparked a wave of speculation online. From theories about a high-security film project to whispers of trouble with his luxury cars, the rumour mill had a field day. However, the real reason behind the visit has now been clarified \u2014 and it\u2019s far more wholesome than expected.<\/p>\n

Putting an end to the buzz, a spokesperson from Aamir Khan\u2019s team shared, \u201cThe IPS trainees of the current batch had requested a meeting with him, and Aamir Khan hosted them at his residence.”<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time the actor has interacted with civil service aspirants. Ever since his 1999 classic Sarfarosh \u2014 in which he portrayed a tough and idealistic IPS officer \u2014 Khan has become an inspirational figure among police trainees. The actor has reportedly been meeting batches over the years, offering insights into his cinematic journey and broader discussions around patriotism, public service, and nation-building.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has been basking in the success of his recent release Sitaare Zameen Par, which collected an impressive \u20b9165 crore nett at the Indian box office in its first month. Directed by RS Prasanna and co-starring Genelia D\u2019Souza, the film has earned praise for its sensitive portrayal of inclusivity and neurodivergence.<\/p>\n

Next up, the superstar is heading to Australia as the Chief Guest for the 2025 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), to be held from August 14 to 24. The festival will host a retrospective honouring Khan\u2019s monumental contributions to Indian cinema, culminating in a special spotlight on Sitaare Zameen Par.<\/p>\n

On the acting front, Aamir has a busy slate. He is set to star in Coolie, alongside superstar Rajinikanth, and also in a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Additionally, he\u2019s confirmed to headline Rajkumar Hirani\u2019s much-anticipated biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke \u2014 the father of Indian cinema.<\/p>\n
